pdxvtours virtual tours require that QuickTime 5, QuickTime 6, or QuickTime Alternative be installed.
ARE YOU SET UP PROPERLY TO SEE pdxvtours VIRTUAL TOURS?
1. Go to www.pdxvtours.com
2. Click on any of the virtual tour sample photos on our homepage. If a rotating image pops up in our virtual tour viewer then you’re setup up properly. If not, proceed to the procedures “Install QuickTime Alternative” below.
INSTALL QUICKTIME ALTERNATIVE
1. Go to www.pdxvtours.com
2. Click on the Get QuickTime Alternative button on the bottom left of our home page
3. Click Run (don’t worry about any security messages)
4. Agree to all installation prompts.
If you run into trouble installing QuickTime Alternative, you may have a corrupted version of QuickTime on your machine. To overwrite it with an updated version of the free QuickTime, do the following:
1. Click the following link to install the new QuickTime standalone version: http://appldnld.m7z.net/qtinstall.info.apple.com/pthalo/us/win/QuickTimeFullInstaller.exe
2. Click Run
3. Agree to all installation prompts.
Once you’ve installed QuickTime Alternative or the QuickTime Standalone version, repeat the initial test to see if you’re set up properly by going to www.pdxvtours.com and clicking one of the virtual tour sample photos on our homepage. You should see a rotating image popup in our virtual tour viewer.
